Something always stands in the way of the fantasy life we all dream of.

This is the story of Lily and Chris. Their lives are each other. They would die to have each other. This is the kind of love that comes around once in a million years. The kind of love that pulls through the darkness and shines where it is impossible to be seen. The kind that has girls across the country sigh in desire.

When they have to chose between the four things they value most in life, which do they chose?

Personality: Don't argue with Lily. She never gives up, and never loses. She is as stubborn as heck, and never bends. She does know how to compromise though. Sass and spunk are strong traits she possess in large amounts, and is often very sarcastic.
Compassion rages through her and is equally powerful as stubborness. She is empathetic to everyone, and understands people's feelings easily. She is a great listener, and can sit with you for hours while you talk.
She is not as graceful as she appears though. She is clumsy at times, and hates gym. She's perfectly okay with being a klutz though.
Lily also hates being the center-of-attention. She would rather work with someone or behind someone than have all eyes on her.
Description (no pics): Beach-blonde hair bounces in a silky sheet halfway between her shoulders and elbows. Crystal-clear blue eyes sparkle from beneath long, thick lashes, which give her the picture of perfect innocence. She is tall, curvy, devoloped, skinny, and elegant. Her lips are full and a sweet pink, which is a shade darker than her always-rosy cheeks. Her skin is fine and pale, never tanning no matter how much sun she basks in, which she does often, not to tan (pssh, she knows she can't tan, and doesn't want to tan), but because she loves the sun.

So here's what's happening....
Lily and her true love (thye are sure they are going to be together forever) are the perfect couple. Lily's love is the best boyfriend, from both father and girlfriend's view points. He is responsible and follows all the rules, and is incredibly safe with her. He's the perfect guy. Daddy approves of him, until one night he discovers she is pregnant (but she really isn't), and throws a fit. The two families have been best friends forever, but when David Luongo thinks his first daughter is pregnant, nothing else matters. Screaming and yelling, he scars the relationship with the families. He forbids Lily to ever, ever see her love again, and also forbids the kids in his family from seeing the kids in the other family. Even his wife is not allowed to see the mother of the other family, even though they are best friends. Lily and her love must creep around the edges, with the constant threat that if they are caught, they will rip their own families apart.
After a long while, the mothers forgive each other, since they know the fight was over nothing. They must also talk in secret, because the two fathers, who were best friends since sophomores in college, still hate each other. They younger kids in the family are also still not supposed to talk. But David isn't as strict with them as he is with Lily. She is absolutely forbidden from ever seeing her love again, no matter what.
But then one night, everything changes. The accusation from her father so long ago is no longer just an accusation. It is the truth.

Even though Lily couldn't lift her gaze from off the floor, as soon as Chris hollered at the class, she instantly felt better. Her cheeks were still beet red, but that wasn't uncommon. Most of the embarassment was gone from her body, which was a welcome change. She squeezed Chris's hand and very quickly lifted her eyes to meet his and flash him a smile.

Chris walked up to her door for the second time that day and rang the doorbell. His polo collar was flat against his shoulders, his hair combed perfectly into place. Not that it would stay long. He huffed a breath, stairing up at the swirl of colors in the sky. Purple, orange, yellow, pink. Twilight. It was so beautiful. His thoughts clouded for but a moment, realizing what he was here for. Another beauty. And so his finger pushed the small white button as chimes sounded through the silence.

Peace sifted through the air slowly outside, as a lone lark sang an evening melody to harmonize with the whisper of the wind. All was calm.
But inside, Lily darted frantically about, trying to look beautiful for her night with Chris. She had started getting ready early so she would be on time. But as she was about to start, her father had stopped her, and delivered a 27 minute speech on responsibilty and safety. Throughout the whole lecture, Lily's cheeks burned with embrassament.
After he was finally done, she whirlwinded through her tasks to be ready, but had to nix straightening her hair from the schedule, thanks to the mortifying half hour talk.
The doorbell peeled cleanly through the house, and set Lily into a panic. Her hair was done perfectly, as was her makeup, but she was clothed only in a bra and light-wash jean capris. She whipped out her cell phone and texted him.

Her room was a mess, with discarded outfits strewn across the floor and bed. Realizing her time was compltely up, she picked up a pink short-sleeved V-neck tee and a white lacey cami for underneath. She threw it over her head, slipped into white sparkly flipflops and clasped a silver matching necklace/bracelet/earring combo on. She stole one last look in the mirror and sighed. She would never be as beautiful as any other girl Chris could have. (even though she is actually very beautiful. just doesn't think she is lol.)

Chris grinned at the message and tapped back, even though he was right downstairs. "Just stay that way ;)" He chortled out loud and with a final press of a small green button, the message was on its way. He ran his fingers through his locks, perfect order no more.
He felt bad for leaving fingerprints on the perfectly glossed brass doorknob but opened it anyway, stepping into the foyer. "Hello Mr. and Mrs. [lily's last name]!" He called towards the kitchen, hearing the low voices of Lily's parents coming from that direction. As his voice reverberated through the hallway, he heard the muffled flipflop of sandals on carpet. He looked up as Lily descended the stairs, and a wide grin broke out onto his face. Hurrying up to greet her (and feeling quite like Romeo) they met halfway down and wrapped his lanky arms around her, finally a whole.
They fit together perfectly, he decided, her cool skin soft against his. His lips found hers momentarily, before a loud cough broke the silence. Dam it Chris thought as he broke away, grinning sheepishly at the parents.

Lily couldn't help but grin at Chriss flirtatious text. She plucked at the pink lace on her bra, and let the band snap against her chest. She coudlnt help but imagine what it would feel like if chris was the one doing that. She immediately blushed, and then fixed her shirt. She bounded out the dooway and down the stairs, straight into his arms. Before their skin had even conected, her lips had found his. Her parents were right there watching, but she didn't care in the least. She felt Chris suddenly push her away, and a pout fell over her face. She tried to keep her arms locked around his waist, but his strengh was greater than hers. As soon as it had started, it was over, and instead of kissing Chris, she was facing her parents.

"Good evening Mrs. and Mr. Loungo," He said politely, all the while squeezing Lily's hand. "We're not going far, just for a drive," He wasn't about to spoil the surprise, even if the parents would demand an exact coordinate location. The rain had stopped early in the morning, and the blaring afternoon sun had scorched the wet grass to dry green carpet. It was perfect.

"Hi, Chris," Kristen smiled fondly, obviously completely satisified with Chris's sugar-sweet tone. His polite disposition distracted her from the fact that he had glazed over their location.
David, however, wasn't as easily pleased. "Chris, my boy, let's take a walk, shall we?" He asked, in that I'm-about-to-give-you-the-three-hour-speech-on-how-to-keep-my-daughter-safe-and-if-you-don't-you-die sort of thing.
Lily groaned, and her head fell in her hands. "Daddy, it's Chris," She gently reminded. Chris. Her dad's oldest "son". The little boy she grew up with, explored and fell into a lake with, held hands on their first day of kindergarten with. The boy who unlocked her from a closet in 3rd grade when his friends had locked her in there, the boy she broke into a candy store with, the boy who stayed up with her all night after her first 6th grade breakup, the boy who beat up her jerk of a 7th grade boyfriend. The boy who picked her up and swung her around on the middle of the stage after they receieved 8th grade diplomas, the boy she started falling in love with as soon as she saw how his eyes sparkled, the boy she first kissed, the boy she would die for. It was Chris. How was her dad not 100% satisfied with Chris?
David sighed. "Of course, Lily, I always forget. I still remember that Conor boy...," He trailed off as Lily blushed scarlett. Conor was her 7th grade boyfriend. The one that tried to get her to give him a blow job, and she had barely escaped back to the house with her shirt ripped, and Conor close on her tail.
"Where are you going to be?" David asked, his voice gentle and less demanding.

Chris grinned slightly at the mention of Connor. He hadn't told lily this at the time, but he had crushed on her since 5th grade, the first time he had ever felt aroused by a girl. He had held out from the petty middle school dating, instead being lily's guardian angel against those who hurt her. It was when he delivered the news that Connor wouldn't go near her again that he asked her out for that Friday, then amended his date becAuse he had been grounded. She had responded with "I'll stay with you." she always had.
Chris woke from his flashback, back to the present, he thought a moment, biting his lip, unyielding. "Its a surprise, Mr. Luongo, but if if will help you at all, after we get there I can have Lily call you," He Said thoughtfully, nodding slightly at every pause. Of course, he had long planned this compromise, but sometimes it was better to look like you had your idea impromptu. He reached up And scratched the back of his neck anxiously, hoping lilys dad would comply this once.

Lily elbowed Chris's stomach goodheartedly, making sure to be very gentle for two reasons; A. His stomach? It's HARD. Elbowing his stomach hard would hurt. And the most importantly B. She would never ever want to cause him even the slightest moment of discomfort. Conor used to be a sore and painful subject with her, but as time wore on, the pain faded and was replaced by humor. In her whole life, she had had three boyfriends. Jimmy- 6th grade- 3 days. Conor- 7th grade- 1 week, 5 days. Chris- Forever.
David pressed his lips together, fighting the paternal instinct to demand a location. One look into his daughter's sparkling crystal blue eyes that were so full of happiness, love and hope made him melt. "That would be great, Chris. Have her call. Be safe, you two." He smiled and nodded, granting them the blessing he had owed they had deserved since day 1.

Chris grinned. "Thank you so much, Mr. Luongo." He snaked his arm around her waist and tugged slightly. "Come on, Lily, the earlier we go, the earlier I get you back here," He smirked slightly as he was saying it, because he knew they'd both go up to a minute of curfew. With one last wave at the family, he guided her to the car and checked the back of his Jeep to make sure the blanket was secure over a couple bulky items. "Are you ready, Ms. Lilyana, for the date of your life?"

"HAve fun!" Kristen grinned ear to ear, her smile trusting and confident. She was so thrilled that her shy little girl had found love. Even though she still thought it was just teen love, it still made Lily happy. And that was enough.
"Be good, now." David shook Chris's hand, and then pulled Lily into a hug, before releasing her to Chris.
Lily waved over her shoulder as Chris towed her to the car. Upon hearing his words, she groaned inaudibly, so Chris couldn't hear. "Oh, Chris, please don't tell me your going to surprise me. I do horrible with surprises." She was excited for the night, but she was a simple girl. Chris was extravagant with her, and gave her more than she deserved. On top of that, she was not much of a surprise-girl. She was a very scheduled out person, and surprises made her nervous.

"I know you just as well as you know yourself, and believe me, you are going to love tonight," He promised her, although he was slightly anxious that these words would bring on false hopes that would have to be squelched later. He drove along the narrow ribbon of a road, the green canopy forests closing in on either side. Houses stopped appearing, there seemed to be more animals spotted than other cars. He abruptly turned onto a dirt road, the jeep rocking slightly from the rocky terrain. Finally, the trail came to an end. Stretchng out before them was a wide river and a small grassy knoll overlooking it. The mossy trees had cleared out along the river bank, showing a stretch of stars in the deep purple sky. Turning around in his seat, Chris whipped off the checkered blanket to reveal a woven basket and a small crome cooler. "Ready for a moonlight picnik, madam?"

Lily's eyebrows, raised as she mumbled, "I hope so. Nothing fancy, right? You didn't spend a penny?" She questioned, her heart starting to beat quickly.
As the landscape changed into a bright forest, her worries started to ease. Nothing could cost money in the woods. Except for the hospital bills that would undoutedbly come after she tripped over some raised root or rock. But whatever. That would come later.
The sky faded from a royal purple, into a midnight black dotted with white spurts of stars. An owl hummed a calming tune, and a dark river stretched before her. Her eyes adjusted to the night, and as a breeze rippled her hair around her face, everything clicked. "Oh my gosh," She breathed, at a lose for words. "Chris," She whispered, her eyes shining in the dark. "Perfect."

"Like you," Chris murmured, completely lost in her eyes. He reached out to brush his finger tips over her eyes, splashing away the wetness. He moved his hands over her face until his palms were molded to the coutour of her cheek. He leaned over the console and pressed his lips to hers, finding their spot instantly. He reached out with his other hand and pulled her body to his so that their chests brushed. Feeling the passionate heat fill the car, Chris fumbled for the window switch. Pressing the button, all four windows plus the moonroof pealed open, sending the cool night breeze through the Jeep.

Lily's pink lips popped open to whisper a response, but immediately they were covered by Chris's own lips. Her body quickly reacted, and flames erupted across her skin. The cool breeze rushed in through the windows and roof, swaying her hair around her face, but the lose strands did not faze her. Slowly at first, but then rapidly gaining speed, her lips danced with his, and her hands wrapped around his back, locking him to her.

Somehow, Chris pulled the lever down in the narrow crevice between the seats, and the drivers seat came crashing over, leaving a passage way to the back seat. Pulling Lily with him, they tumbled into the more spacious back, a tangle of limbs and still locked in an embrace. He could feel his body turning itself over to testosterone, his heart, brain and groin all bargaining for different things. Love isn't the same as lust he repeated in his mind over and over, yet he felt himself slipping his hands under her cami, and tampering with the plastic clamp at the small of her back.

(wait, her bra clasp? lol, the small of your back is the bottom, above your butt. Her bra isn't around her butt. xD)

Lily didn't even notice the topple onto the backseat. Her heart was too busy reassuring her brain and body that this was love. It was the closest she could get to Chris, and that was why her heart wanted it as badly as her body.
It was so effortlessly easy. They were two halves of a whole; they fit together just right. Like breathing, this just came naturally.
Her shirt was on the car floor already. Her cami was still on, but barely. Their mouths were still locked, but her hands were not still in his gorgeous hair. Contrasting to the rapid way their lips were working, her hands slid slowly down his body to his chest. With shockingly steady hands, she unbuttoned his shirt and let it slide to the floor. Her hands traced the contours of his muscular chest, but kept sliding down. Over his hard abs, and then stopping at the very top of his pants. But only a second of insecurity passed before her hands were over the hard ridge of his pants. (bleh. lol)

Chris took in a gasp of cold air as her fingers found his fly. He pulled the cami and bra over her head, her hair now messy, but adorable just the same. Their chests, both bare, were pressed against each other as Chris's hands explored their treasure. He pulled back from their kiss, so close their foreheads were still brushing. He looked meaningfully in her eyes. "Are you sure you want this?" he whispered, tucking a curl behind her ear. They had never gone this far before. "And by this is don't mean doing it. Not yet,"

Lily's pink cami floated lazily to the ground and her lace bra followed close behind. Her skin tingled and sparked as his hands explored her body. The only fabric left between them was his pants and her capris.
Lily's hands froze as he pulled away, the first thought popping into her mind being rejection. But as soon as his forehead found hers, her blood instantly warmed again. "100% positive. And you?" She whispered, her words low. She lifted a finger and gently caressed his face, starting at his cheek and down to his jaw. "Christopher Wells, I love you and no one else. I want to do this."

Chris smiled and turned his head to kiss the tips of her fingers. "Lilyana," He said, a moan infiltrating his whisper. "I love you too, always and forever, and I want to do this too. And do it thorough. No se.x tonight, okay?" His cheek was now paralllel to hers, his lips at her ear, then tucked into the curve of her neck, kissing each bare inch of skin.

For once, Lily was happy with what he gave. "Deal," She whispered. Her hand traced the curve of his lip and followed onto his chin. With a pounding heart- not from nervousness or embrassment of any of the usual, but rather from pure love and hormones- she pressed his hand against his chest and felt his heart racing as well, in perfect beat to hers.

Chris took her hand in each of his large ones and wrapped then around his neck, hugging her close. He let go of them and ran his hands down the length of her torso, fmgers so gentle t was almost as if he wasn't touching her at all. He took a deep breath and undid her capris, pulling them down her legs. When they had been kicked off he looked at her panties and couldn't help but sigh. "Beautiful," He murmured

Lily breathed in deep, Chris' familiar scent tickling her nose. She kissed the hollow of his throat and then brougt her lips to his chest. Her pile of clothing rested at the base of the seat, and her capris made the pile only slightly taller. Lily bit her lower lip but then confidently brought her hands down to his pants, undid the fly and slid them off.

They were both now in their underwear, and looking down at himself and her, an idiotic grin fell over his face. He had fantasizes about this for so long. It had been his calming vision when he was mad, imagining what it would be lime to actually be with Lily. And so, with a deep breath he hooked his thumbs into the elastic band of her underwear and pulled off the thin panties. His breathing became faster, almost incapable of processing what he saw. "My God," He gasped as he jerked the panties from her ankles.

Fire burned wherever Chris's hands touched.As he slid off her panties, the fire spread between her legs. "My turn," she whisper-moaned in his ear. Her hands peeled off his boxers with ease and her heart and head starting spinning in giddy circles as his last article of clothing fell to the ground.
