"Go find that girl you were gonna do or something. I don't feel like getting hurt anymore!" she headed for the door.

"Anymore?" he stood up.

"You really are clueless, aren't you? You don't think it hurts for me to sit here and be lead on just to be told you don't love me like I love you? You seriously think I am not hurt inside, I'm just feeling peachy?" Mai hissed.

"I think you're overreacting."

She still didn't look at him. "Whatever, you don't have to deal with me because I'm leving!" She opened the door and walked out.

"MAI!"

She ignored him, tears streaming down her face as she walked.

"Mai pleaseZ!" she ran behind her.

"What?!" she didn't turn around.

"Why are you so upset?!"

"Haven't I already explained multiple times??"

"So you're dumping our friendship?!"

"I don't want to look at you and be reminded of howmuch it hurts!"

He reached up to her and pulled her into a tighthug, not letting go.

Mai pushed her hands against his chest but he was too strong and she was crying too hard. She folding her arms across her stomach and sobbed.

He wiped her tears softly. "Hey, come on. Please."

Mai closed her eyes, not wanting to look at him. "Why?"

"Because I still want to be with you."

"I told you why i don't want to be just friends..."

He took a deep breath. "What if I agree to us being a "thing" but we have to take it slow?"

"But that's not what you want, is it?" tears stained her face.

"If I didn't want it, even a little bit, you really think I would do it?"

Mai looked up at him, "Ok..." She smiled slightly but knew she looked horrible.

He smiled, hugging her tightly.

M<ai wrapped her arms around him and hugged him back.
