"I invited you cuz I like hanging out with you."

"Well, that leads a girl on." Mai muttered.

Mai ignored him and refused to look up.

"oh sorry i meant we should go because my bandmates are making fun of everything we do" he said shooting another mean look at them as they mocked him

"Please." he tried.

"Right," she smiled.

Mai stared at the ground as if she didn'thear him.

he led them to a practice room away from his bandmates

"I still love you," he faintly smiled.

She smiled. "Where are we going?"

Mai growled and stared up at him, "Do you see what I mean by leading agirl on?! Telling me you love me after this? Please!"

"As a friend!"

"But still! I thought you might feel the same way I did," she glared at the ground.

"Wait." He stopped. "You have a crush on me?!"

Mai groaned and laid back, her hands up beside her head. "YES! Boys are SO clueless!" she hissed.

He sighed. "Im sorry."

Mai ran her hand across her cheek and under her eyes, getting rid of the moisture. She folded her arm across her chest, sniffed, and stood up without ooking at him. "I... I gotta go..."

"Hey, don't go," he soothed.
