Kyle stood nearby.

She rented it.

"Nice board." He smiled.

"Thanks."

"Wanna head out?"

"Sure."

Kyle headed to the edge.

She followd.

"You know how to surf right?"

"Ummmm. Sure."

"Yes or no? I can teach you if you want."

She nodded and folloed.

"Then, you would turn your board around and stand on your board as a wave comes over. Then just balance yourself. Don't freak out." he said.

She took a deep breath and tried it.

"You wanna swim out?" he asked.

"Sure."

Kyle went belly faced towards the ocean.

She followed

"Alright. For now, we won't be so far out. Cause you're a first timer."

"Oh thanks." she laughed.

"No problem." he said, smiling. "So." he said, looked behind him. "A wave is coming. We hurry and get on our feet." he said, getting up.
