Sunrise Wolf Pack
You watch as a beautiful red she-wolf greets a brute and asks him to join her pack. He growls and tackles her. “Do you even know who I am anymore? Your enemy, remember?” he growls. “I-I didn’t know! You’ve grown so much!” The she-wolf replies. “Excuses, excuses.” He says and attacks. She tries to fight back, but the brute keeps her down. Suddenly, she gets up. The brute tackles her again. She fell to the ground. The brute walks away. You stay still, not knowing what to do.

Finally, you decide to help her. You see a wolf going north. The wolf doesn’t notice you. You figure north is the camp of her pack, so you carry her there. You were right, as the wolves begin running towards you. “What did you do to her?!” A wolf asks. You say, “I didn’t do anything!” and describe what you saw. The small pack mumbles a name, but you can’t understand it. Finally, one says, “You were very nice for helping our alpha. You may stay in our camp overnight so when our alpha wakes up, she will be able to speak to you before you leave.”

The next morning, the red she-wolf awakens you. “Hello. You are the wolf that helped me, correct?” she asks. “Yes.” you say, staring at her crystal-blue eyes. “Thank you for helping me. I would like you to join my pack. I would like to get to know you. You seem to be a very kind wolf.”

“I will join.” You say. “Thank you. Right now, our pack is very small.” The red she-wolf said. “By the way, what is your name?” You answer and she replies, “My name is Bloom, and as you know, I am the alpha of Sunrise Wolf Pack.” You bow your head, and she tells you about the pack and shows you around the camp.

Corina sat there, she began to feel a bit light-headed. She breathed deeply, trying to get the feeling away before she fainted.

Selene turned yo Crystal. "Then lets not keep them waiting too long." she smiled beginning to pad back.

Asim gathered with the other wolves, waiting.

Asia pulled Shira along with her. "Come on darling." She murmured to her only surviving pup. She sat when they got to the edge with the other queens and pups.

Shira bounced anxiously, anticipating when she can go play.

"Corina!" Shadow gasped. Couldn't have someone else gone instead of Crystal? he thought.

Crystal sped back to camp, and Sky padded behind her.

"Crystal!" Shadow called when she came through the camp entrance. "Do you remember your medicine wolf skills?"

"Well, um... I was so young... but... oh yeah!" Crystal gently took Corina to her den. She looked for the right herb. Almost immediately, she found it and padded back inside.

-flashback- India boldly walked into the strange camp, while timid Opal watched from the sidelines. She quietly awaited the outcome of India's bold entrance. As India was welcomed kindly, she followed. She was greeted in the same fashion.

-now-

Opal sensed something was tense and she knew someone must've been hurt. She turned to gather with the others, and waited for India to follow.

India, also sensing something was wrong, quickly dashed toward the gathering. "Is everyone alright?" she barked.

"Oh, well, that's--" India looked behind herself, startled to find Opal waiting in the rear of her. "That's horrible!"

Opal put her head down, embarassed of scaring her sister. "Yes," Opal said. "It's very bad."

Sky sat down next to Bloom. "Sorry I was late." he whispered, then Bloom nodded. "It's alright."

Sapphire nodded. "I hope Bloom chooses a medicine wolf. I think Crystal would be a great one. She was a newly-made medicine wolf after her mentor died. Then her pack was destroyed..."

She quickly brought the herbs back and whispered, "Wake up, Corina." while she got the herbs ready.

India whimpered slightly, eager to hear more. She acted so childish sometimes! She tried to feel empathetic, but was just eager for a good story. She looked at Opal, and whimpered. She hoped Opal could save her from this awkward conversation.

Opal smiled at her sister and looked at her paws. "That is very unfortunate, her past." She quietly licked Corina's fur.

Corina squeezed her eyes shut, opening them up into slits. "H-Hello?" she rasped softly, she didn't know what happened.

Opal nuzzled Corina sheepishly. "Shhhh. Everything is fine."

India howled to the pack, "CORINA'S AWAKE!!!" Everyone had already witnessed the awakening. She stepped backward, and her sisters eyes told her that she shouldn't have done that. She looked out into the forest and said, "I'll go get her a little something to heal her wounds. Some, protein food..."

"It's okay, India." Crystal said. "All she needs are these herbs. Her wounds are okay." She gave the herbs to Corina, and whispered, "Everything's okay. All you need to do is eat these and rest after the meeting."

"Okay, let's just start the meeting now." Bloom said. "I have realized that things are not safe enough in this forest without a medicine wolf anymore. Crystal was a gifted medicine wolf, and I would like to give her the opportunity to become one again. Crystal, do you agree?"

"Yes, Bloom, I'll try my best." Crystal smiled.

"You will no longer hunt or battle for your pack, but now you will heal others that do this." Bloom said and Crystal nodded approval. "Now, even though you are quite young, would you like to choose an apprentice for back-up?"

"I will. Would anyone like to volunteer?" Crystal said.

Opal stared at her paws. She knew much about the herbs of the forest, but she was a teenager, too old to spend her time as an apprentice. "I... will," she whispered.

India, surpirised at her sister said, "Yes, she'd be great!" She had helped save India many times.

I would like two members to mentor them. They will become members when they have." Would a member like to volunteer to mentor one?" Bloom asked.

"I'll mentor one," Shadow said. "I think I'll have time."

Selene padded forward. She looked at the two. Asia was her best friend. "Emerald.?"she said.

Shira smiled. She had known Selene since she could remember, and she loved the idea of meeting someone new.
