You race through unknown territory. You noticed scent markers a while back but took no heed. Suddenly you find yourself in a pack's camp, surrounded by strong, sleek, well-fed wolves. You try desperatly to hide your fear. A large black she-wolf steps forward. "You have entered Avalilk River Pack's territory." she says in a commanding voice. "I am Griet, alpha female. Will you join my pack?"

Yvaine's violet eyes scanned the herd for an easy catch.

Griet gently licked the two small pups that lay in the curve of her belly.

Tarim sat next to her mother, smiling.

Blizzard jumped on the largest buck and cracked his neck bringing it down

Yvaine took off into the herd, pursueing a buck that had fallen behind.

Blizzard wacthed as the buck stopped stuggling he watched Yvaine hint she seemed quiet graceful

She weaved in an out of the fleeing caribou, eyes focused on the buck.

A doe raced up at Yvaine, trying to save the buck. Yvaine growled, but continued on. The doe, kicked out, hitting Yvaine and sending her, hurtling into a tree.

Blizzard jumped foward quickly killing the doe he pounced on the buck and bit into its neck killing him he then picked Yvaine up slowly he said ''Yvaine, are you alright''

Blizzard slid Yvaine on his back and took the two bucks in his mouth and set foward back to camp he kept a brisk pace careful not to stir Yvaine
