"Well, I mean, just..." Jake shook his head, "never mind, you won't understand..."

He stayed out of it.

Jake sighed and looked back at Maia.

She narrowed her eyes. " Uh, you're the whole reason for this. Now I will make you a deal, you leave now, you can spend 24/7 with her tomorrow."
