Coulter smiled, and eaned into it.

Maia raised an eyebrow.

Lorraine scoffed. " I can do whatever I want with her."

Jake held her protectively in his arms, "You can't take her away from me, no matter what! I am not letting you keep her from seeing me, you can't!"

" Uh yea, I can. I could ship her out of the country if I wanted to!"

Jake looked from Lorraine to Maia and sat Maia down in a chair, than kneeled down, "Not if I do this, Lorraine..." he looked deep into Maia's eyes lovingly, "Maia...."tears came to is eyes but he smiled.

Maia's heart froze.

Lorraine growled.

"Maia... I love you so much... W-will you... marry me...?" he took her hand delicatly in both of his.

She was speechless. Part of her wanted to say yes, but the otehr part said no. She hadn't known him long enough.

Jake's smile slowly faded, "M-Maia...?"

James I went dow stairs to the back yard and picked up the surfboar in the small sheds back there. "time for the beacj!"

Maia's eyes just widened, nothing came out.

Lorraine smiled wickedly.

Emmett grinned, 'Yah!" he opened his door.

Jake sighed, "You and I haven't gone out for long, but I've known you for as long as I can remember and loved you for so long... But if Lorraine's just gonna be like the fathers in Romeo and Juliet, than just be Juliet and don't take your freedom..." sad tears streamed down his cheeks.

Maia cried. " Jake, even if I say yes, Lorraine still has 100% power. She could ruin my marriage, even tear it apart."

Lorraine smiled.

" She's 17! Not an adult! You're just blinded by the fact that Maia doesn't want you! She's gone through enough because of you!"

Diana: I headed for the park, and the piece of wood that wasn't completely finished.

Taylor moved closer, and wraped her arms around his neck.

Diana: I picked it up, and inscribed my signiture on the bottom right.

Emmett grinned and kissed her.
