She bit her lip. "That won't make me change my mind."

Cassian let out a sigh. "I understand, I broke your heart, there's no chance in winning you back anyways..." he said sadly, getting up. "At least let me help you to the car...."

Cassian turned to her, helping her up. He had her face him, staring down into her eyes. "Can I just do one last thing before I leave you?"

"What is that?"

"This" Cassian said to her softly, leaning over and kissing her gently on the lips.

She looked him in the eyes.

Cassian pulled away, letting out a sigh as he turned away and began to walk.

She didn't speak the rest of the way.

Cassian found Gideon's car, turning to Michaela slightly. "Here's the car, I guess this is goodbye."

She closed her eyes, looking downwards.

Cassian opened the door for her, letting her in. "Goodbye."

She didn't say a word.

"Michaela." Lorraine hissed.
