You wonder around the streets of VaniValla, New York, tired and starving. You enter an alleyway with 3 dumpsters in it, you search through the black one and a small terrier pokes his head out of the garbage, "Hey, get your own" he yaps. You move to the blue one and a white samoyed jumps out, "Go find your own dumpster" she growls. You move to the other side of the alley, before you can even try to open the dumpster, a big german shepherd jumps out, "Why are you on my territory" he growls. "Hey, Champ, give the dog a chance to speak" chimes in a voice, it was a beautiful golden retriever. The german shepherd, Champ as the golden retriever had called him, growls, "Fine, tell your story about why you're here" he says and sits down as you speak. When you finish you ask to join, "Come on Champ, let the dog join" pleeds the golden retriever. "Fine" Champ snarls "The dog can stay Glory"

"Thank you Springwater" he said and froze, again hearing pawsteps in the streets, he turned at stared at the entrence to the alley with his blury vision

Champ stood watching the entrence, his fur getting drenched and his vision becoming clearer in his left eye, but his right getting worse

"Yeah. I'm fine." Major said gasping for breath. The pain from his leg was affecting his breathing.

"No you're not. I'll tell my brother to help you." she said quickly. "DUKE!"

Duke rushed over with supplies he stole from his old owner. He wrapped up his leg and gave him a paper bag. "Breathe through this."

The pawsteps dissapeared and Champ snapped back to reality, he limped over to Major, his body throbing with pain, "I...i'm sorry, this is all my fault" he admitted

Duke turned around and helped Champ. "So what do we have here? Injured leg, swollen throat, and broken tail. All can be fixed sir." he smiled.

Champ could now see clearly out of his left eye and was able to see whohe was talking to "Thank you Duke" he said, he didn't dare tell him about his vision
