Silverpaw awoke. "Where's...."

Cinderpaw cried int his pelt, "Firepaw if he likes her so much can save her on his own nothing's wrong with her she's just got the wind knocked out of her she'll wake up in a bout a few mintutes." she promised crying into Northpaw's pelt.

Firepaw sat down, he contiinued to lick her muzzle, "Come on, Angel." he gasped, she wasn't his angel was she?

Northpaw sighed. "That's nice, but she didn't mean to ruin your life." he said. "You still have a long way to go, and maybe Firepaw wasn't for you, if they get together, and if rhey don't, i'm sure he'll come to you, and you two will always be friends. "

Silverpaw awoke more clearly. "WHat happened? WHere's Cinderpaw?" she asked.

Firepaw snarled, "she left you to die!" he snapped glaring into the forest where Cinderpa vanished.


Cinderpaw looked at Northpaw, "Even if he does, if I really want to be medicine cat, I can't be with him, I'm resigning as med cat apprentice." she sighed unhappily.

Northpaw nodded.

"What? She wouldn't do that." she mumbled. Silverpaw followed him quickly.

"You'll still be friends with him."he said.

firepaw nodded, grief, saddness, hurt, in his eyes. "but she did." he said.


Cinderpaw licked Northpaw's ear thank you." she w=hispered and made her way back to the training hollow.

"CINDERPAW!"

"Welcome." Northpaw said.

Cinderpaw nodded and ran to Silverpaw's call, "Oh good, your okay!:" she smiled happy.


Firepaw jumped her pinning her down, "How could you leave her like that!?" he demanded snarling.


cinderpaw cried helplessly, she cowered, but then she sprung him off, sednding him flying she got up, "You take care of her yourself, seeing you like her so much!" she snappped.

Northpaw walked to where the fight was taking place.

Northstar was out hunting, until he saw two apprentice's attack each other her ran opver angrilly. "What is going on?" he yelled.

Northpaw crouched down where he couldn't be seen by his father and mentor.

Cinderpaw had pinned Firepaw again, her eyes blazing with fury. "Why do you love her so much!?" she yowled, crying again.


Firepaw changed his expession to confusion and apologeti c, "Cinderpaw I dpon't love Silverpaw." he confessed.

Northpaw smilled.

Northstar sat down.

Cinderpaw colapsed into his fur crying, she hugged him a little with her paws. She turned to Northstar, "Northstar, I would like to resign being medicine cat apprentice, do you mind if I become a warrior apprentice?" she aske dpolitely crying she was so happy.

Silverpaw stopped. "YOU DON'T? I thought you did. You were with me and you practiced with me." she said. She stopped. SHe starting crying and ran even more.

Firepaw rollded his eyeas and ran after her he caught her tail and stopped her, "Hey, just because I train with you doens't mean I love you, just like I don't neccesarily love Cinderpaw.' he explained, "Love takes tme." he said.

Silverpaw wriggled away and kept running. She was never going to come back. "I THOUGHT YOU HAD FEELINGS FOR ME!" she shouted. She found a cave and collasped. She cried softly in her sleep.

Firepaw was easily able to follo her scent, he laid down beside her and nuzzled her, "And then again, I might." he smiled.
