Shallowfur saw Squirrelstorm. "Hello Squirrelstorm!" she said walking over to her.

"Hey Shallowfur! What's up?" Squirrelstorm asked.

Tigerpaw kneaded the ground anxiously. Taking a deep breath she continued on her way to the MountainClan border. She had to persuade her father, Shadowstar, not to attack ValleyClan. She couldn't bear to see her new Clan destroyed by her own.

"oh, really nothing, you?" Shallowfur said.

"Hey Tigerpaw, where are you going?" Northpaw asked.

Tigerpaw jumped. She had been so focused on her mission, she hadn't heard Northpaw. "Er....nothing," she mewed.

Northpaw rolled his eyes and walked closer. "that's not much of answer, i never knew there was a place called Nothing." he said.

"It doesn't matter where I'm going right now, ok"

"Why doesn't it matter?" Northpaw asked with his head cocked.

Tigerpaw kneaded the ground. "It doesn't matter where I'm going," she said, "But it is the difference between life and death for the Clan..."

"oh, can I come to?" he asked.

"No.....no you can't," she said reluctantly. She'd love for him to come, but if Shadowstar saw more then just her......she shuddered at the thought.

"alright." he said stubbornly.

Tigerpaw licked Northpaw's ear affectionatly, then vanished into the undergrowth.

Northpaw waited a second, then followed behind her as she didn't know, and she wouldn't find out.

Tigerpaw hurried along at a brisk pace, therefore she soon arrived at MountainClan's border. She gulped, then swiftly crossed, headed for the camp.

Squirrelstorm walked to the fresh-kill pile to get something to eat. She saw how scanty it was and decided to go for a hunt. "Anyone want to go for a hunt with me?" She called out.

"Sure, I will." said Shallowfur.

Northpaw followed Tigerpaw all the way to Mountainclan camp, then his eyes stuck, here, why? he asked himself. But followed under large vegetations bushes where he couldn't be seen, then took a quick dip in a strem, so no one would smell him.

"Let's go, Shallowfur." Squirrelstorm said heading for the camp entrance/exit.

"ok." Shallowfur said following Squirrelstorm.

Tigerpaw gulped. Then, taking a deep breath, she entered MountainClan camp. Her arrival was greeted by disapproving hisses. But she continued forward. And at the back of the camp sat Shadowstar...

Northpaw watched odly, and scrambled closer into a bush.

"Well....well....well.......what have we here," Shadowstar sneered, "Come to beg me not to destroy your Clan?"

"Maybe," Tigerpaw said casually.

Northpaw crept closer to hear, then was pushed from behind by a cat he didn't know was there, the cat hissed as Northpaw fell down from the heavy blow.

Cinderpaw left camp crying with her sister she couldn't take it anymore.

Firepaw looked at Silverpaw, "Silverpaw, you may cmoe with me if you choose but I'm leaving for a few moons to come back to you always." he sighed and started to sprint into the woods.
