Snowstar walked out of her den.

Snowclaw shifted her paws nervously. "That's what's bothering me," she meowed quietly.

Snowclaw looked up wondering if her leader was mad at her.

"who are you??'I asked.

"oh,"i muttered

Silverstream looked at the sweet kit. "what is your name, sweetie?" she mewed licking it's head.


Tawnypaw and Ashpaw stood by their mother gazing upon the kit as if it was her own.

Snowstar was busy right now so Snowclaw quietly left camp.

Snowclaw walked dissmally into the forest alone. Her heart ached and she longed to see her friend.

"Hawkfeather?"

"Yes?"

"Hey!"

"Hi!" He rubbed against Rainstorm.

I purred,"There's some kits i want you to meet!"she purred.

Toadkit tumbled out.

Rosekit came out.

Should I just leave? No one would notice or care anyways, Snowclaw thought.

Tawnypaw had left sweetkit with her mother and Ashpaw had gone hunting as was herself. She went over Snowclaw's trail and followed it not knowing it. She stopped as she saw Snowclaw, "Oh, hey Snow!" She always called cats by their first part of names. thewy liked it or hated it.

"Hi Tawnypaw," Snowclaw meowed stopping.

"Snow, what were yuo doing?" Tawnypaw mewed.

"oh, uh, just going on a walk," Snowclaw meowed.

"You look, er, lonely." Tawnypaw felt for the she-cat, lonely, always feeling distressed and angry at everyone, she felt that too. She almopst whimpered but then called, "Fire, come here."



A beautiful tom with shining orange fur came out of the bushes, he nuzzled Tawnypelt.


Tawnypaw thought to herself, You know what, I don't feel that anymore. With him. she smiled at Firepelt.


Firepelt saw Snowclaw and couldn't take his eyes off her almost glowing pelt, she was a warrior as apposed to a lowly apprentice like Tawnypaw.
