Duck Clans

Where they live:
They all live in one lake together (that doesn't mean they get along). Their lake was made by the Featherless (Humans) and they were all brought to that one lake because of some reason.

History:
The lake is still pretty new, but it's very common for the Featherless to walk their dogs around their lake, and occaisonally a dog with get loose and got after a duck. The Featherless also come to feed the ducks bread, but this is also a dangerous time. There may be a fight over a chunk or there may be a dog near by.

There are four clans:
White Duck - Your typical Aflac duck. White with orange-yellow beak and feet.
Rainbow Duck - A mallard. Very pretty, bright, and colorful males and dull, more brown females.
Dark Duck - They are black with orange-yellow beaks and feet. The males have bright blue feathers - some more than others - and the females are darker. (My own creation)
Land Duck - This is a mixture of all three ducks. They rarely go in the water (most likely because of their past) unless it's needed for safety or the Featherless have come to feed them. They wander around the streets and in yards. They are the most risky since they can be ran over, hurt by a Featherless, or a dog.

Positions:
Leader - The lead duck. It doens't matter what the gender is, they are both allowed to have a mate and have ducklings.
Step-Up - The second duck in charge. He/she takes over if the female leader has to take care of eggs. They are both allowed to have a mate and have ducklings. He/she takes over once the leader dies.
Senior Fighters/Guards - These are ducks that are a few cycles (months) away from becoming Oldies. If it happens that the LEader and Step-Up are caring for ducklings, they will work together to make the Clan desicions.
Junior Fighters/Guards - Thses are ducks that are a few cycles into becoming a fighter or gaurd.
Figther - These are ducks that fight the other ducks if it's ever needed. They aren't new, but they aren't old to fighting.
Guards - These are ducks that defend the Clan if a sneak attack ever happens or a dog attack. The aren't new, but they aren't old.
Healer - This is only one duck. It may be female, but she is not allowed to have ducklings until she retires to become an Oldie or has to leave her post.
Learners - These are ducks that are at least five cycles old. They decide whether they wish to become a Fighter or Guard, or possibly even Healer.
Oldie - A duck that was seriously hurt in a battle or a very old duck with only a few cycles left.
Duclings - Either an egg or a duck younger than five cycles.
Mothers - A female duck that has laid eggs and is keeping them warm.
