Held at the Staples Center in LA where he was
rehearsing for one of his concerts the day before he died, was the
memorial of Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson was born on
August 29, 1958. He grew up in Gary, Indiana. He lived with his
brothers and sister and his parents. He always had a musical talent and
showed it to the world when he and his brothers became the Jackson 5.
But, being a superstar wasn't everything. He went through hard times
during these days. Though every time he preformed, he seemed happy but
nobody knew him well enough. Let's just say, his father pushed them TOO
hard. Michael went solo after several years, working with his brothers.
He made hits like "Beat It", "Billie Jean", and "Thriller". He created
the dance move everyone knows.. The Moonwalk.
Michael as most
of us know, was very... fragile. He broke parts of his body several
times and got into accidents like setting his hair, accidentally, on
fire. He had gone through many hard times. He was diagnosed with
Vitiligo and Lupus. Vitiligo was more effective than Lupus. He had to
bleach his skin pale which made everyone shocked. He also had 2
children, Michael Jr. [Known as Prince] and Paris Katherine Michael. In
2002, he had another child, Michael II [Known as Blanket]. Everywhere
he went with his children, they seemed to be covered in veils of all
kinds. Hiding the faces of these children.
On June 25th, 2009,
Michael Jackson had died at 2:26 PM through cardiac arrest. They
claimed he had a hard time breathing. On July 7th, 2009, the memorial,
set at the Staples Center happened. 20 Thousand fans, friends, and
family gathered for this special day. Singers like Mariah Carey, Lionel
Richie, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, and Michael's own brother, Jermaine
Jackson preformed in honor of this great man. And for the first time
ever, Paris, Prine, and Blanket were dolled up for this day. Not
wearing veils, but wearing suits and dresses for their fathers
memorial.
R.I.P Michael Jackson for you will be in everyone's hearts forever.
