Dragons

First topic message reminder :

People and dragons used to live separately. But now, they live together...in peace. From contests, to races to just playing around, they train, they play, they learn from one another. Some have learned to communicate with their dragons by mind. Others, communicate by actions.

Rules:
-Not everyone can communicate by mind. That's too easy.
-You can only have up 3 dragons unless you're a breeder.
-Breeders may only have up to 3 of their own dragons, but they can have other dragons they give/sell to others.
-Contestants main purpose are to participate in contests and be the best out of everyone.
-Apprentices are training with Trainers to become Contestants.
-Trainers specialize in training Apprentices. They have lots of Authority in the town.
-Play rank is for those who just want to have fun with their dragons without fighting, competition and pressure. Relax
-Fighter rank is for those who want to fight other dragons... o__o
-Other, if you're an other, please explain your 'other' rank.
-You can be more than one rank but they have to go together. For example, you could be a Contestant and a Trainer. Or a Breeder and a Play rank. Apprentice and Other.
-Kids under 13 are only allowed to have 'baby' dragons. Dragons that can not be fought with, trained, or entered in contests yet. When they reach 14 and already have a dragon, the dragon will be allowed to do those things. If they do not have a dragon yet, they must wait until the dragon and the owner have a tight & close bond.
-Over time, people will lose and gain new eggs/dragons. If you already know what you want their next dragon to be, you should put down the name now somewhere in your form. Just to make sure no one else coincidentally takes that same name.

Name: Katie[Kat]
Gender: Female
Personality: Kat is friendly toward dragons although not always to other people. She likes to participate in contests even though she might not win. She tries to be the best out of everyone. However, she can get distracted which is why she is also an Apprentice at the moment. She's loving towards her dragon(s) and treats them equal. She likes to watch out the window for hours when it's raining, but whenever it's nice outside, she goes out and spends time with her dragon(s).
Description: Kat is short for her age ( 14 ) and she has light brown hair which she keeps in a high ponytail whenever flying. She has pale green eyes and straight teeth ever since she got her braces off. Her fingers are long from years of piano, but their rough from grabbing onto the harness. She wears short sleeves in any weather and will usually just throw on her brown jacket when it gets cold. She wears stretch pants all the time because jeans are not very good for flying. Katie has two pairs of sneakers and will decide which one depending on the weather.
Likes/Dislikes: Katie likes flying, her dragons, her close friends, her family and contests. Katie dislikes Fighters, thunder storms and know it all/snooty people. -__-

Dragon gender(s): Male
Dragon description(s): Orbit is a rather large dragon for a small girl. His scales snow white with enormous wings the color of the sky on a cloudless day. He has eyes the same color as his wings. However, depending on his mood, his eyes change to different shades of blue. The darker, the angrier/sadder. He has large feet and a tail that stretches to over 15 feet. Orbit can be extremely fast, despite his heaviness. His harness is blue as well and when the sun is shining off of him, he looks like he has a halo above him.
Dragon personality(s): Orbit is friendly just like Kat and is always eager to enter contests. He loves being first and he is very competitive. Whenever they lose in last, he sulks for a few days by ignoring orders and doing the wrong thing at the wrong time but Katie always finds a way to cheer him up eventually. As Orbit grows with Kat, they will bond even closer because Orbit was her first dragon.
Other Information: Kat found Orbit as an egg but wasn't able to hatch it until she was twelve.

Personality: Derek is quiet and small. He might seem helpless and lost, but if you think he's easy competition, you'd be wrong. Derek is competitive and can be violent when his anger is too strong. He seems to have a strange mysterious feeling around him.
Description: Derek is small and pale and has dark hair that covers his eyes. He wears dark clothing and he is bony and skinny as though he is not fed enough.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes-His only dragon, winning, his cloak and the look on people's faces when they underestimate him. Dislikes- Loud noises, busy places, too many people, happy people.

Dragon gender(s): Male
Dragon description(s): Demon is a small dark gray dragon with silver wings. When in a fight or contest, Demon's scales turn into a dark dark dark black. He has silver eyes and his harness is silver. Demon has a strange marking on his forehead but no one can make out what it is.
Dragon personality(s): Demon has the same personality as Derek so they're perfect for each other. Other dragons might take it as abuse when asked to fight, but fighting and winning is almost his second life.
Other Information: Demon was given to Derek by his father who died recently. That's why Derek is usually so violent and angry. Will he calm down eventually?

Demon glided down with ease as Derek jumped off, staring at the many dragons with fierce looking trainers. Or trainers with fierce looking dragons. Derek had a dark look on his face as he led Demon towards the other dragons. More towards the girl with a large dragon. This was who he was facing next.

Electra nose dived, Shi automatically leaned onto her neck, almost becoming part of her. She landed easily her wings pounding. Shi sat up and looked around, these people trained hard. The dragons looked fierce. Shi slid off and walked through the crowd. A dragon snapped at Electra hind and El hissed violently. Shi dragged her on and El had a hard gleam in her eyes. Mayb Electra finally got some spunk to fight Shi thought to herself.

A loud whistle sounded and Derek climbed aboard Demon once again. Demon snarled at their opponent and they both vowed they would beat her.

Shilo looked at the times for the next fight. She turned quickly and Electra was up close and personal. Shilo laughed, "Few minutes love." El was satisfied and walked over to where the competitors would get ready to go into the battle.

Derek and Demon circled with the other girl (uhm idk who?) who was just as fierce looking as her dragon. Demon made the first move, slashing his claws against her dragon's scales.

The dragon took the blow easily. He lashed out with both claws towards Demons head, tail swiping his feet.

Electra was giddy with anticipation. "El if you love watching so much then why don't you fight?" Shilo chided watching closely.

Demon's tail helped balance him out as he flew up above the opponent dragon. Derek guided him towards the head as Demon landed heavily on top of them Derek looked out to the crowd and saw thousands of Dragons and people cheering and screaming. One girl was trying to coax her Dragon into joining the fight.

The dragons legs gave way as it rolled with Demon. The girl flattened herself against her dragons back. Their moves simotanious. (sp?) The dragon ripped at Demon's stomach and left a long gash.

Shilo subconsciously patted Electra's side as she watched.

Demon roared in pain as blood dripped from his wound. He slashed at the dragon's face, blinding one eye and sending the dragon and the girl backing up. Derek patted Demon's head and promised this would be over soon. Demon snapped at the dragon's tail and smoke emerged from his nose. (?)

The girl let out a faint scream with the dragon as the dragon hollered. The dragon kept Demon on his good side trying to get his tail free. The dragon lost the will to fight, not wanting to risk loosing another eye. He snarled though and caught Demons shoulder with his claw.

Shilo gasped as she saw both the dragon and the girl scream, there was a mind link there.

Derek gave a loud whoop and pushed the dragon down with Demon. Demon kept his weight on him until the whistle blew again. Then, they would officially win, although they all knew it was already over.

The dragons head hit the ground hard. The girl heard the whistle and cooed her dragon up. "Good Fight." she said stiffly.

Electra's tail swayed back and forth.

Derek led Demon out of the ring into the back stage. He took a clean towel and began cleaning his dragon's wound carefully. Demon shuddered at each touch as he watched the next match.

Electra slipped out of the arena. She wanted to see that one dragon form the last fight. The black one. She walked towards where she thought they'd be, she was right. She wasn't sure whether of not to make a sound. She made a small calling noise.

Shilo was deep into the new fight that was going on, she didn't notice Electra slip away.

Demon turned his head to see another dragon making a calling sound. He looked to see where Derek was. He was absorbed into the fight as well. Demon left to go see shimmery blue dragon with white wings.

Electra wings unfolded slightly as the dark dragon walked towards her. "I'm Electra." she said as he got closer.

"Hello...Electra," He replied, wincing as he moved. Pain seared through his body as he spoke.

She looked him over and saw his cuts. "I shouldn't have interrupted you.." she said "You need to be taken care of."

"That's alright," He said half-laughing. "It happens all the time." Demon felt more relaxed now as he sat down. "I'm Demon," He said, then pointing at Derek. "That's my Master, Derek."

She sat down also. "Hello Demon." she said easily. "My master.. well she is in there." she nodded towards the arena. "She doesn't know i came down here, she'll notice soon enough though." she smiled.

"So will Derek," He smiled back. Derek looked around and saw Demon 'speaking' to another dragon. "Hey Demon. Who's this?" He asked patting Electra's head.

Electra raised her head to meet his hand in greeting. "He's nice." El said to Demon.

Shilo walked down the steps, "Electra!" she called seeing her with another dragon and person, the last fighter. Shi laughed as she walked over. "El you silly girl." she said coming up behind them. "Sorry if she caused harm. I'm Shilo."

"Oh, no trouble. I think Demon's made friends with Electra," Derek smiled again. He rarely smiled at anyone else. But when Demon was happy, he was happy. "He's rarely nice though. You must be different," Demon said to El, blinking kindly at her.

"She's a friendly one." Shi smiled at her. She looked at Demon, "Quite the warrior your are." she said extending a hand, unsure if he would let her touch him.

El shrugged but there was a gleam in her eyes.

"I see..." Derek said admiring Electra's colorful scales and wings. "Go on," Derek urged his dragon. Demon moved closer to Shi and let her pat his head. "You have a very nice Human." Demon complemented El.
