The Great Depression- A RP

Note* This RP is for those who are very into their characters and aren’t afraid or shy to write as much as they can. I wanted to make a role play that could relate to some economical struggles some people are facing, so that we could better understand what this world is becoming. –dun dun dun- If you are interested in being in this RP, please fill out the form and read all the rules (:

It’s not exactly as bad as the Great Depression, but for Caitlyn’s family, the economy drop is hitting them hard. With her grades dropping from stress and her dad losing his job, their family is falling apart. Not only that, her parents are fighting more and more and even though they assure her everything is all right, they all know it’s not. Even the only thing that could cheer her up could be in danger too. Her dog Velvet has been diagnosed with a deadly cancer. She knows her parents are getting a divorce, she knows her dog is going to be put to sleep and she knows she’s not going to make it to the next grade. Even her best friend Hailey can’t relate to her anymore. They used to be the best friends that knew everything there was to know about one another. They were inseparable. As the pressure of high school approaches, it’s just too much for Caitlyn. She can’t think straight anymore and after that, well, comes the drugs and illegal actions.

Rules
-Don’t write short sentences that are hard to respond to. EX/ Caitlyn sat down and began typing on the computer.
-Please be detailed when filling out the character sheet.
-Everyone may play as the dog (Velvet). Just use the color brown when writing as the dog or saying what Velvet is doing.
-Exaggeration and adding dramatic events are allowed as long as it isn’t too ridiculous.
-This should be realistic so no one knows if it will have a happy ending or not.
-If you would like to add another character, please feel free to do so. Although I will have a limit to how many characters there are. But for now, you can play as however many characters you want.
-You may not however, play as two main character roles. (The ones listed below)

Age: 17 or 18 (undecided)

Personality: Don't let his looks fool you, as menacing as he appears to be, he is actually a nice guy who wouldn't hurt anyone unless you got on his bad side. If you mess with his brothers or any of his friends, he's not afraid to beat the snot out of you. He has a soft spot for animals and little kids, along with girls. He is a bit of a jokester and a rebel if he gets bored, he can also be a bit of a smart aleck. He never thought about taking drugs or doing anything illegal like most of his friends talked about, so he usually was by himself reading and trying not to get into big trouble like his friends were getting in. He is trying to drift away from the bad crowd but with what has happened in his life it gets harder for him to stay away. He wishes to have one person other than his brothers who could help him stay away from turning to the bad crowd.

Description: He has long, black coffee colored hair that falls over his ears and eyes. His eyes are like blue/green sea glass, as cold looking and menacing as ice, with a hint of gray in them. He has a semi muscular build, old scars and wounds cover most of his body, but the one that stands out most is a deep scar that goes across his nose and down his right cheek. He is wearing old, dark torn up jeans and a black leather jacket and a Disturbed concert t-shirt on. He is wearing black, white, and gray DC shoes. He has a large silver wrist watch on his wrist along with a thick, dark leather band on his other wrist. He has his left ear pierced once.

Likes: skateboarding, playing guitar, playing lacrosse, music, jokes, animals, his brothers, books, coffee, meat, chocolate, his motorcycle, girls, the color burnt orange, fire.

Dislikes: bullies, preps, his parents, school, Freaks and wannabees,extremely happy people, drunks/druggies/s*xual harrassers.

Other Information: His parents are always drunk and brutally abxse him and his brothers, they used to have a lot of money than they did now but with trouble with the economy his life has turned upside down. Eros once had a younger sister named Rue, but due to his parents she was bxaten to death. Eros and his brothers hate their parents for doing that, which is another reason why the family is drifting apart. His friends drifted off and began to try pressuring him into doing bad things and it's getting harder and harder for him to resist. With his homelife being a wreck, he runs off from time to time to get his mind cleared. He got in the habit of smoking and hasn't been able to quit for some time.
