Dragons

First topic message reminder :

People and dragons used to live separately. But now, they live together...in peace. From contests, to races to just playing around, they train, they play, they learn from one another. Some have learned to communicate with their dragons by mind. Others, communicate by actions.

Rules:
-Not everyone can communicate by mind. That's too easy.
-You can only have up 3 dragons unless you're a breeder.
-Breeders may only have up to 3 of their own dragons, but they can have other dragons they give/sell to others.
-Contestants main purpose are to participate in contests and be the best out of everyone.
-Apprentices are training with Trainers to become Contestants.
-Trainers specialize in training Apprentices. They have lots of Authority in the town.
-Play rank is for those who just want to have fun with their dragons without fighting, competition and pressure. Relax
-Fighter rank is for those who want to fight other dragons... o__o
-Other, if you're an other, please explain your 'other' rank.
-You can be more than one rank but they have to go together. For example, you could be a Contestant and a Trainer. Or a Breeder and a Play rank. Apprentice and Other.
-Kids under 13 are only allowed to have 'baby' dragons. Dragons that can not be fought with, trained, or entered in contests yet. When they reach 14 and already have a dragon, the dragon will be allowed to do those things. If they do not have a dragon yet, they must wait until the dragon and the owner have a tight & close bond.
-Over time, people will lose and gain new eggs/dragons. If you already know what you want their next dragon to be, you should put down the name now somewhere in your form. Just to make sure no one else coincidentally takes that same name.

Name: Katie[Kat]
Gender: Female
Personality: Kat is friendly toward dragons although not always to other people. She likes to participate in contests even though she might not win. She tries to be the best out of everyone. However, she can get distracted which is why she is also an Apprentice at the moment. She's loving towards her dragon(s) and treats them equal. She likes to watch out the window for hours when it's raining, but whenever it's nice outside, she goes out and spends time with her dragon(s).
Description: Kat is short for her age ( 14 ) and she has light brown hair which she keeps in a high ponytail whenever flying. She has pale green eyes and straight teeth ever since she got her braces off. Her fingers are long from years of piano, but their rough from grabbing onto the harness. She wears short sleeves in any weather and will usually just throw on her brown jacket when it gets cold. She wears stretch pants all the time because jeans are not very good for flying. Katie has two pairs of sneakers and will decide which one depending on the weather.
Likes/Dislikes: Katie likes flying, her dragons, her close friends, her family and contests. Katie dislikes Fighters, thunder storms and know it all/snooty people. -__-

Dragon gender(s): Male
Dragon description(s): Orbit is a rather large dragon for a small girl. His scales snow white with enormous wings the color of the sky on a cloudless day. He has eyes the same color as his wings. However, depending on his mood, his eyes change to different shades of blue. The darker, the angrier/sadder. He has large feet and a tail that stretches to over 15 feet. Orbit can be extremely fast, despite his heaviness. His harness is blue as well and when the sun is shining off of him, he looks like he has a halo above him.
Dragon personality(s): Orbit is friendly just like Kat and is always eager to enter contests. He loves being first and he is very competitive. Whenever they lose in last, he sulks for a few days by ignoring orders and doing the wrong thing at the wrong time but Katie always finds a way to cheer him up eventually. As Orbit grows with Kat, they will bond even closer because Orbit was her first dragon.
Other Information: Kat found Orbit as an egg but wasn't able to hatch it until she was twelve.

Gender: Male
Personality: Derek is quiet and small. He might seem helpless and lost, but if you think he's easy competition, you'd be wrong. Derek is competitive and can be violent when his anger is too strong. He seems to have a strange mysterious feeling around him.
Description: Derek is small and pale and has dark hair that covers his eyes. He wears dark clothing and he is bony and skinny as though he is not fed enough.
Likes/Dislikes: Likes-His only dragon, winning, his cloak and the look on people's faces when they underestimate him. Dislikes- Loud noises, busy places, too many people, happy people.

Dragon gender(s): Male
Dragon description(s): Demon is a small dark gray dragon with silver wings. When in a fight or contest, Demon's scales turn into a dark dark dark black. He has silver eyes and his harness is silver. Demon has a strange marking on his forehead but no one can make out what it is.
Dragon personality(s): Demon has the same personality as Derek so they're perfect for each other. Other dragons might take it as abuse when asked to fight, but fighting and winning is almost his second life.
Other Information: Demon was given to Derek by his father who died recently. That's why Derek is usually so violent and angry. Will he calm down eventually?

"Okay then. I won't go easy on you. Just remember, you have no friends in battle, only enemies." Demon said loudly as he snapped his sharp teeth, preparing to fight.

A shudder went down El's back. Shi felt it and leaned towards her whispering encouragement. Electra's muscles became jittery with the thought of a fight.

Derek felt the intensity building up. "Alright Demon. Just try not to kill her okay?"

Demon reared up on his hind legs and ran heavily towards Electra. He lunged at her with his sharp teeth and slashed at her, taking out some scales while he was at it.

Electra hissed in pain, as Demon's rear went by her she lashed out teeth and claws. She left a few good puncture holes on his flank. The spot where he removed the scales didn't really hurt much anymore, just a faint burning.

Demon smiled and lashed his tail out at her, sending her flying, for she had not expected such a move.

Electra was in the air nearing the ground, and fast. She used her wings like a parachute. She ran toward Demon, Full speed, head on. At the last second she spun wings out taking out his legs and the sharper scales on her tail leaving a shallow gash.

"Good," Demon said as he shook his leg to rid of some dripping blood. He circled Electra quietly and slowly then quickly flew up and landed heavily on top of her. he weighed her down and watched her collapsed underneath his weight.

Her head hit the ground hard. She fought through the dizziness that was in back of her head. She rolled with him on top of her.

Demon and Electra went rolling around the field, clawing and slashing at each other.

(can they shoot fire? o.o demon can shoot black fire or whatever . electra can shoot lighting. idk o.o)

((Sounds good to me, lol i though Dragons had those power put I wasn't sure. haha))


Electra was pinned underneath Demon when she felt something tingle in her claws, it was an electrifying feeling. In her mind she intensified it and saw a stan of lightning jump between her talons. She pressed them up to Demons legs, sending a jolt through him. Shilo could see what El was doing and encouraged her.

Demon was thrown off of Electra and sent flying backwards. He shook himself off and gave her a sly grin. "Oh it's on now!" He shouted to her. To Derek it didn't sound anything more than a loud rumble of noises. Demon got up and glared at Electra who was almost as shocked as he was about what just happened. Derek tapped his hand on Demon's head two times and Demon smiled. He opened his mouth and a large blaze of a dark indigo fire shot out at Electra. He did that until the both dragons were inside a ring of dark fire.

Electra was in awe as the fire surrounded them. Shilo thought to herself, if only we had that mental bond.. she sighed and leaned forward, "You got this. Use the electricity." she said quietly. Somewhere inside Electra felt the electricity waiting for her to notice it, it was like a pulsing ball inside her. "Ready when you are!" She challenged back slightly hoping she wasn't digging herself a hole.

"I'm always ready," Demon roared back, waiting for Electra to target him with her lightning. He was definatly prepared this time. Or at least he hoped so. Some smoke travled out of his deep breath and the fire around them blazed even more. Derek grinned as he tightened his grip on the reins.

Shilo began to wish she had not not gone bareback today and actually bought fighting tack for El. Electra tapped into the ball of energy inside her and mapped out her attack in her head. She lunged forward, looking as if she was gonna head butt his side. Instead she went head on towards his chest placing her claws on his shoulder pushing him back towards the fire.

Demon twisted and freed himself from her grip and whipped around to shoot even more fire at her. "Good boy," Derek whispered, laying low and holding on tight to Demon's neck. A few of his scales had burned off from the fire and turned into a pile of ashes. His glowing eyes reflected the fire and just by feeling the heat, he felt even more power than ever.

El's tip of her wing got singed in her process of staying away from Demon. She wasn't sure anymore how to get to him to end this fight. She opened her mouth in a scream, there was a high pitched screaming and in the back of her throat a small ball formed. The high pitched scream was cut off and a small squeak was released as the small ball of electricity when flying at Demon. She was giddy with satisfaction.

Demon swiftly dodged to the left, away from the fire ball. "Well, you'll have to shoot faster in order to hit me!" Demon laughed, his eyes shining with satisfaction. After years of practicing, he had learned to look all around him and expect anything.

Selene waved from her spot on the sidelines. Comet roared with contentment and spewed a small blue puff of smoke from her reptilian nostrils. Selene smiled and leaned against Comet.

El smiled laughing easily, "I think it was a good match." she said tired, easing her muscles but still ready to dodge. Shi craned her neck to see El better. She was smiling with pride.

"Ready to stop? Maybe we should continue tomorrow..." Demon said, feeling quite thirsty and looking up at Derek to see if they would be drinking soon.

"Yeah tomorrow sounds good." El smiled. She shook lightly, as not to throw Shi off. Shi laughed as El wiggled underneath her, "Let's go into town and get something to eat, what do ya say?"

"Sure," Derek agreed as Demon excitedly flapped his wings.

Shi thought for a minute, "How about we go to that corner place?" she bit her lip looking at El for her reaction. El shook her head disagreeing, "Fine" shi laughed "you pick" EL looked at Demon.

Demon looked back at El then took off without notice. He had no idea where he was going, but somehow, he felt he would soon know.

Derek shrugged at Shi and didn't question Demon. He was far too happy to care if they got lost. He was just glad that Shi and himself had something in common. Unlike many others he had met, he felt this was going to be different.

Electra swiftly followed Demon, slightly behind him.

Shi looked at the space where they left. it slowly became a dot in the forest. She smiled at the view, happy she had a friend.
