IMPORTANT:
I know that there are a lot of rules, but the rules make it fun and full of suspense. If you don’t follow the rules, your character will be forfeited and you will no longer be able to role-play on this thread.
Make sure that you read the thread throughly, so that you understand and comprehend all the rules.

You work for the Killarney Police Department in Australia. Murders are going on around the town, and all traces point to someone inside the Police Department (PD). There are numerous suspects, including:

Jackson Gilliam, Narcotics officer transfer from California with a hazy past.

Alice Lician, K9-Unit leader, who has someone living with her, who is unknown.

Melinda Barnes, officer on corrections unit who is kind one day, then mean the next.

Gabriella Ryan, linguist who used to live in New Zealand

Liam Montoya, Gang Devision, a mysterious Italian with Mafia connections from his jailed uncle from Italy

Darcy Harris, the secretary; a flirty femme-fatale who can do anything and never get blamed. She is very gullible, but can be tough.

(Note; I will PM you and tell you if your character is the killer; do not make them that way, and when you find if they are, do NOT tell anyone else; it takes the fun out of it; I will let you know if there are any assistant killers, if there are any, so that the killers can work together to accomplish the killings and evade the cops)

Other: Has an unknown man living with her (who ever gets her part will be told who he is and may not tell anyone else), and has a Beagle named Magellan

Looks: Thin blonde hair that’s always tied up, brown eyes, and is Russian
Personality: Grumpy, then kind, but cares a lot about her job.
Other: Is always out late on weekends, and makes friends in low places. She is a classic movie buff, and likes to watch old romances.

Name: Liam Montoya
Age: 28
Looks: Auburn hair, gray eyes, and is always tan
Personality: Flirty, and when he doesn’t get his way, he brings down everyone with his stormy attitude
Other: His uncle was a Mafia leader, who is in jail in Italy. He still has connections with the Mafia, but uses them to help people. He collects National Geographic magazines, and is always drinking Starbucks.

Looks: Curly blonde hair, deep blue eyes, skinny
Personality: Flirts, breaks hearts, and uses people to get what she wants, and makes friends then brings them down after cutting them off
Other: Was a professional ballerina in Russia, before she sprained her ankle. She is also involved with Officer Gilliam, which is not allowed in the office.

Personality: Snappy, always believing internet scams, and afraid of dogs
Other: She knows Finnish, German, Spanish, English, and Maori

Name: Jackie Lewis
Age: 31
Looks: Hazel hair that’s always tied up, violet eyes, and pale
Personality: Kind, honest, strong, and always helpful
Other: She really takes charge of the police station, and feels that she is responsible for the murders, making her vulnerable. She is also a single mother of a three year-old girl, Esme.

The setting is Killarney, Australia, (fictional town) by the Australian Outbacks. It is an old mining town, with several old mines that are boarded up. Population 1,275, hardly anyone is there in the summer, making it a small town, home to about 300, including the numerous gangs.

RULES FOR KILLARNEY KILLINGS


1. The killer will be notified by PM. Do NOT say you are the killer, or give any hints that you are. It takes all the fun out of it!

2. Every week there will be a new victim, clue, and hint. Do your job as police officers to solve the mystery, catch the killer, and protect the future victims.
3. If the RP starts going slow, I will post a new hint. Hints can be an item, cast footstep in clay, video or audio tapes, information, or papers.
4. I will narrate what happens, who the victims are, where they live, and when they were killed.
Remember; everything is connected.
5. At least one officer is involved. There could be more.
6. Do NOT say “I think the killer is...”. You need to deduct, and if you think the killer is someone, PM me. I won’t say yes or no, but I will give you an hint or information.
7. Please do not act out the killings, or play the roles of the victims. I will narrate the victims murder from their perspective.
If other players are involved in an affair, none of the other players know about it unless one of the involved players tells another. For example, Darcy and Jackson’s affair is secret; no other players know about it unless the players playing Darcy or Jackson tell another player. Example: Player 1 tells Player 2 that he/she is one of the killers: Nobody else knows, hears, or suspects.

BASIC RULES


1. No God-moding
2. No F or S-bombs.
3. No physical contact; kissing and hugging are OK, but do not describe further relationships. Just say that they were involved, or in an affair. No further information is needed.
4. Do not edit your form. I made it the way it is for a reason. (Sunny is the only exception because she's, well, Sunny! xD)

"alright,"Gabi said ahppily,"where to?"

"Your call." She said, looking down at her feet, a tear slipping out of her eye.

Alice exited the house and sighed. She bent down to pet her dog and avoided the eyes of the victim's niece. She frowned and sighed once more at the mere thought of murder in her small town.

Jackson took his gloves and wiped the keyboard for some fingerprints. He turned on the screen and it was logged on.

:How about Panda Express?"Gabi asked

"Sure!" She said, and grabbed her purse.

A message popped up on the computer

*WARNING* Trojan virus alert!

The computer screen flickered, and it shut down

Gabi smilied and lead ehr to her car.

Jackson was just about to click Microsoft Word. But then it died. Jackson cursed. He tried to bring the computer back up. But all it showed was a blank screen.

((it's the worst virus ever; it hacks all your passwords and everything. I had it once :P ))

[Lol. I almost had it! >.< It was horrible. But My dad caught it in time! xD]

"Maybe. But, I dont even have my equipment..." Jackson groaned. "I'm gonna look for more evidence."

[Meep. I had a virus. Mind if Alice intervenes?]

Alice heard the buzz and whir of a failed computer and frowned. She looked in the doorway and saw Melinda, Jackson and Jackie gathered aroudn the victim's computer. "What's up?" she asked.

She twisted the side of her mouth and wrinkled her brow. "Well, I'll ignore your mumbling." She paused, then changed the subject. "So... get the computer people or something? There could be some evidence on the computer." She took out her cell phone and held it out for someone to take.

"I'll just get my gear, Alice." replied Jackson. "You do remember back in Police Training, I happened to also major in computer science."
