Inside the leader's den,three cats huddled together speaking in hushed tones. The first cat,a black cat with silvery streaks in her fur with green eyes spoke up "What will happen Littlefeather?" The next cat,a dark ginger with amber eyes replied "We might not know what will happen Silverstar,until one of us or another cat finds it. Until then,who knows." The last cat said "As deputy,I will look and see if there is any change in the cats amongst us." The last cat was a pure white cat with deep sapphire eyes. The three of them sat in silence that night,thinking of the future to come.

Chapter 1 Part 1
Oakpaw pounced eagerly on a plump mouse behind a charred tree stump. "Nice catch." he heard a purr behind him. Oakpaw whipped around amber eyes wide with surprise. "Don't worry,it's only me,Amberpaw." said the small she-cat apprentice as she padded towards him, fat squirrel clamped in her jaws. "We better get back to camp." he meowed. Amberpaw nodded and the two of them bounded back to the camp with more fresh-kill for the Clan.
