Salem: A small town in New Hampshire; the setting of the infamous witch trials.
Salem Witch Trials: A series of trials where over 50 accused witches were hung, were possibly started by 17 year old Abigail and slave Tibitua, two young girls who are supposedly said to have started the rumors.

Its horrible seeing your hometown in every history textbook across the country. Its even worse knowing they are based on truth.
